Rocky Mountain Literacy and Child Development provides assessment, consultation, and intervention services for children with literacy, language, and developmental difficulties.

We are recognized by the International Dyslexia Association as a high quality service provider for children with dyslexia. Find out more about our approach below or click here for more details about our programs and services.

We are committed to evidence-based practice.

This means that the efficacy of the methods, approaches, and programs we use has been established by high quality research.

We use an individualized structured literacy approach to the remediation of literacy and language disorders, including dyslexia, poor comprehension and dysgraphia.

Structured literacy is the only approach recommended by the International Dyslexia Association for children with language-based learning difficulties.

Structured literacy teaches the core components of literacy (phonology, sound-symbol association, syllable types, morphology, syntax, and semantics) using an explicit, individualized, and systematic approach. It is the most effective method of literacy instruction for children of all ages and all reading abilities.
